The Best Fucking Life

At 11:30 am the artists Nelo Teixeira and Ihosvanny installed the piece THE BEST FUCKING LIFE at the entrance of the main building of the ELINGA Theatre, in downtown Luanda.
The piece is a letter sign made of sachets of 50 ml of whisky “Best”, commonly sold on the streets of Luanda.
This brand is made in South Africa. Each sachet contains 50 ml and is sold for 50 Kwanzas on the street.
80 sachets of 50 ml where used for the making of this sign.
The main building of the Elinga Theatre has a resident acting company with the same name and is one of the main cultural hotspots in Luanda.
The building will soon be demolished.
The “construction” of the sign took 15 minutes.
The piece was removed in 5 minutes.
